Deb and Simon and their crew were so much fun to hang out with on their wedding day.
Deb’s style and grace was something to be in awe of… she was stunning.
It was a joy to be a part of their day.

Meghan and Alex, thank you for having us document your amazing day!
Megan and Alex will be tying the knot this August at the RCYC. So we headed out to the island a couple of weeks ago to scout some locations for the big day.

Well the babymoon is over and I’m officially back to work.
I photographed Maggie + Rafal back in August of 2009. I think it was a test……they soon were engaged and I was booked to shoot their wedding.
Even though my fingers almost froze off during the outdoor photo session…..I think we manages to get some pretty cool shots.
Maggie’s attention to detail made my job so easy. Everywhere you looked there was something to take a picture of.
Maggie’s eyes are stunning in this shot.
Rafal sure knows how to make a picture come alive.
The details where amazing!
Love this last one…….
Thank you Maggie and Rafal for letting me document your amazing wedding.
If it tickles your fancy……..feel free to leave a comment.
Jennifer and Alex are getting married at their parents home in Mississauga. With the reception to follow at the Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery District. They ventured out to my studio in Puslinch to take some fun engagement shots. The light was stunning!
Here are my favorites from the shoot.
I love how these two portraits have a painterly quality to them…….the light that night was magical.
This last shot is so sexy……and how can you go wrong with a purple tutu????

At the beginning of this year I made the announcement that I was going to shoot more portraits and less weddings. Just so I could spend more time at home preparing for the arrival of babybone. Well……bam! Portraits abound. Here are some of the results of those shoots……..
This first shot was taken during one of my one on one workshops…….thanks Susie for being such a great model!
Bellies seem to be a theme…..
And how can you have bellies without babies……….Shane is the cutest little dude ever!
I love the difference between the next two……the first looks like he is asking his first love ever out on a date!
The second is when she said yes……..
Kyrsten is a previous bride of mine………who is soon to be a mommy! Any day………can’t wait to meet he/she!
And Jonas……uber cutie pie!
All of the above portraits were taken in and around the barebonestudio.

Joanne and Eric’s wedding day was in one word……relaxing!
Aside from the torrential downpour that happened as we were arriving on Toronto Island the day just flew by.
Luckily the storm broke and we got a chance to go outside and take some pictures.
I don’t know the entire story……but Joanne’s dress was a loaner from a designer and was once worn by Elisha Cuthbert.
I have a feeling Elisha didn’t look this good in it! And I LOVE that it wasn’t your typical wedding dress!
One thing about the rain……it makes the colors pop…..look at those eyes!
I love this next little sequence……….
Could these two be any happier!
This shot reminds me of old Hollywood!
Thank you Joanne and Eric for making me a part of your day.

Amy and Dave will be married this fall in true vintage style at Amy’s family home in St Agatha.
I can’t wait!
For their barebonelove session we headed To Clyde where Amy keeps her horse……couldn’t have asked for a nicer day!
Height difference…..what height difference?
I love the way Dave is looking at Amy in this shot!
We couldn’t leave without a shot with the horse!

When I said that I was only taking 10 weddings a year people thought I was crazy. How could you stop doing the thing your good at?
Well I don’t see it that way at all. By only taking 10 weddings a year it allows me to be more creative and a spend more time with each client.
And in the case of Dorie and Paul……..it allows me to book a wedding 2 weeks before the big event.
As soon as I got on the phone with Dorie I knew we were going to have a good time. Dorie and Paul have been together for 12 years and decided last minute that it was the time to “get hitched”. I am just so glad I was available to shoot their intimate affair!
They were married this past Saturday at Toronto City Hall.
As soon as I saw this wall I knew I had to shoot it……..and that dress! Couldn’t be more perfect!
The evening ended at Le Select Bistro……….perfect setting for these two!
Thank you Dorie and Paul for making me a part of your day.
